The Challenge

Sensational has excessive experience in building ERP interfaces, forming user-friendly web applications and developing mobile devices mainly for companies based in food service and hospitality, logistics, pharmaceutics, dental and medical supplies.

Their jewel product, PopScan, makes it easier for businesses to order new parts from vendors by using seamless scanner integration with web application back-ends. This website was also designed and developed by us.

We were asked to update the visual identity and website to something that they could all internally be proud of and feel was theirs, but also exhibited an international appeal.

Our Solution

Our approach originated from the physical settings of Sensational. In the office there was a noticable lightbox that formed an 'S' and we were inspired to use this for their identity. We replicated the S to be used 'outside' their own office and a logotype to emphasize the name and updated their old orange colour scheme to more up-to-date nuances.

For their website, Sensational wanted a strong online profile with minimal content. Consequently, we designed the website around their new identity with a simple structure and layout.
